(1) Detainees or prisoners shall be kept as follows when detained or incarcerated – (a) Men and women shall be kept in separate houses as long as possible and otherwise they shall be kept in the same house in such a way that they cannot meet or communicate with each other. In the opposite part of the house,

(b) As there is a provision to keep prisoners and prisoners in the same prison, subject to clause (a), the prisoners and prisoners should be separated as far as possible in separate parts,
